A Party with a Purpose 2010 event:
Dine in a 19th century setting just as some of Chapel Hill's toniest citizenry did at the dawn of peace in the spring of 1865. With the war recently over, food stores were beginning to be replenished and evening entertainment returned to Chapel Hill's private homes. A dining experience such as one would have found on the lace-covered tables of the time will be served. The evening includes costumed storytelling characters as the host, hostess, and help.
Location: The Horace Williams House, 603 E. Rosemary Street
Date: Saturday, April 24, 2010
Time: 7:00 - 9:00 pm
Cost: $45 per person
