Roland Giduz, who calls himself a "notorious hometown ne'er-do-well," has written in and about Chapel Hill for more than a half-century. The life-long Chapel Hillian has been a newspaper and magazine reporter/photographer/editor and publisher and an active participant in the civic life of the community. He has been named to the first class of "Town Treasures" by the Chapel Hill Historical Society (2008).
