local: Lauren Talley (94)

Lauren is a junior art major at the Univ. of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is originally from Albemarle and her small town Southern roots greatly influence her artwork. "I come from a close farming family and grew up on the farm my entire childhood. Beyond the family influence, I am also largely affected by my Christian faith and the experiences I have had with it and as a result of it around the nation. I am grounded in my roots, always looking for new places."
