Aiken-Heavner: Catharine Carter (8)

"Angles and Waves" Catharine Carter is a native of Chapel Hill and grew up in an artistic family. She graduated from UNC with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, majoring in painting and Intaglio printing. She has won both state and national photographic awards. She produced the "Doors of Chapel Hill" poster and spent three years documenting the "Transformation of Memorial Hall" on the UNC campus. In 2009 she closed her photographic portrait studio of 35 years to devote full time to her art and painting. Her web site is catharinecarter.com
