Art from the Heart (now through February 4): About Art from the Heart

What is Art from the Heart?

After receiving a small square canvas, acrylic paints, and brushes, our artists return a piece of art that they have made themselves. Some artists instead contribute art they have created in other formats. These works are displayed at the Chapel Hill Museum and Kidzu Children's Museum, and also on this web site, before being bid on in our auction.

We currently have works by around 100 local contributors, including triangle chefs, town officials, musicians, artists, authors, UNC coaches, and other well-known community members.

The Chapel Hill News published an article about Art from the Heart in 2009.
