 |  "Drive to the River" Tama Hochbaum is an artist/photographer living in Chapel Hill. She was awarded the Thomas J. Watson Foundation Fellowship to study printmaking in Paris in 1975. For twenty years after her return she was a painter. Her foray into photography that began in Paris twenty years earlier became her sole interest one she moved South in 1996. She will be having exhibitions at Room 100 at Golden Belt Studios and at Craven Allen Gallery, both in Durham, as well as at Cary Town Hall in the coming year. Tama is represented by George Lawson Gallery in San Francisco.
