Dave was awarded the National Caricaturist Network's (NCN) Golden Nosey Award as Caricaturist of the Year and is recognized as a Master Caricaturist by NCN. He has won the Drawing for Best Likeness Award from the NCN and the same award in the NCN Masters Division in competition against other Golden Nosey Award winners. If you are in Chapel Hill and have been to Spanky's Restaurant you have seen Dave's work all over the walls. This piece is of Butch Davis, coach of the UNC football team and is signed by the coach.
