"Purple Cone Flowers I" Marcy came to painting quite late in life, and finds it to be the most satisfying "work" she has ever done. She spends every spare minute at it and her subject matter ranges from flowers to animals to portraits of people she loves. Her medium is watercolor and this work is the first she has done on specially treated watercolor canvas.
